Hi Mike,
Great Question. I am on leave from the museum this year
and living in Boston, so I haven't seen the sun dogs.
I don't know much about the sun and was curious to
find out what causes sun dogs. I searched and was
able to find a few things that might be of interest
to you. I was surprised to learn that there are also
moon dogs.
